Volunteer Registration Info 

​Thank you for expressing an interest to join Hilton Harriers as either a Helper, a Manager/Coach or Assistant Welfare Officer.

 

To Join everyone needs to follow steps 1-3 and in addition for a Manager/Coach Step 4, a Helper Step 5. and Assistant Welfare Officer Step 6.

Step 1: Get an FA FAN Number: ( if you do not already have one from playing or buying England tickets)

​

 

Step 2: Register with the club at https://membermojo.co.uk/hhcoaches/joinus ;

​

  • Please make sure you provide 2 reference emails on your application

  • The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) will then add you to the club in WGS (FA Whole Game System – the main club admin system)

​

Step 3: Once you have confirmation from the CWO Complete your DBS (criminal records check)

​

  • Access the Whole Game System, please visit https://wholegame.thefa.com

  • You will be asked to enter either your Email or FAN ID along with your Password before selecting Login. Select “My DBS”

  • Select “Hilton Harriers”

  • Once selected, an automated email is sent to you with a  link to the GBG criminal records system, open it and complete application

  • Claire Ecclestone  (CWO) will need to see all 3 ID documents you entered so that they can be verified please email  Claire on welfareofficerhiltonharriers@gmail.com to make an appointment to share the documents

  • Once the documents have been verified, you will need to log back in and pay £10, which the club will reimburse you. Send receipt and bank details to hiltonharriers@gmail.com

  • Once you have your DBS go back to https://membermojo.co.uk/hhcoaches/joinus and enter the date (we don’t’ need a copy of it, it is your private document)

 

Step 4: If you are going to be a Manager/Coach a team then you will need to complete the following online courses, 

​

  • Safeguarding Children Workshop  £30 :Safeguarding Children Course | The Boot Room (thefa.com)

  • FA playmaker course, (free) The FA launch The FA Playmaker supported by BT | The Boot Room

  • FA introduction to coaching football course (£160) Introduction to Coaching Football | The Boot Room (thefa.com)

  • You need to register and pay using your fan number and send the receipt, bank details and certificates to hiltonharriers@gmail.com for re-imbursement.

  • Once you have your certificates go back to https://membermojo.co.uk/hhcoaches/joinus and enter the dates of your 3 qualifications

  • Once qualified  as a coach/manager join the licensed coaches club (free) at http://faccreg.thefa.com/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=%2f

 

Step 5: If you are just registering as a Helper (never coaching alone without the manager/coaches)  you will need to complete a DBS (follow steps 1 to 3 above) and the safeguarding children’s courses below , which can be accessed via the FA boot room (see link below). You need to register and pay using your fan number and send the receipt, bank details and certificate to hiltonharriers@gmail.com for re-imbursement.

Step 6: If you are going to be an Assistant Welfare Officer (Follow steps 1,2 and 3 above) and then take training courses below:

  • Safeguarding Children Workshop  £30 :Safeguarding Children Course | The Boot Room (thefa.com)

  • Welfare Officers Course £25 - The FA Welfare Officers Course | The Boot Room

  • Safeguarding for committee members (free) Safeguarding | The Boot Room (thefa.com)
